The Torpedo Factory Art Center
Located in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, just outside Washington, DC, The Torpedo Factory Art Center is one of the largest and most successful visual arts centers in the US. A renovated former torpedo factory that was built during World War I, it now consists of three floors of artist studios, galleries, workshops, an art school and an archaeology museum.
The Art League
Founded in 1954, The Art League, Inc, is a multifacetted, nonprofit visual arts organization based in the Torpedo Factory . Classes and workshops at The Art League, in combination with the stimulating atmosphere of the Torpedo Factory, provide new and established artists with an ongoing source of inspiration and community.
New Era Gallery
A fine arts gallery exhibiting works by locally and nationally recognized artists, on the beautiful island of Vinalhaven which is located in the Penobscot Bay of Maine.
